Dear Voters,

 

I am running for Routt County Commissioner because I am proud of the work I have started as Commissioner, and I want to continue to serve this great county and its people.  During my tenure, we have endured two recessions and have come out stronger and more equipped to face the future.  As Commissioner, I helped orchestrate the addition and remodel of the Yampa Valley Regional Airport, the completion of the Routt County Justice Center, and the completion of the remodel of the Historic Courthouse.  We have also made tremendous strides related to a sustainable economy, water, energy development, affordable housing, workforce housing, early childhood education and care, forest health, and emergency response. 

 

I'll continue to “GET THINGS DONE” for Routt County during the next four years.  I am concerned about the continuing county budgetary dilemma resulting from an increasing population, increased strain on existing county services, and spiraling inflation (especially in the energy sector), all while subsisting on static revenues. 

 

I am asking for your vote on November 6, and I am asking for your continued support and participation as a valued member of this great county.
